Care and hosting
Keep your website online and up to date.
A website needs looking after once it is live: hosting, and small changes when your business changes. Care is optional, explained on the intro call and agreed in writing.
What care is meant to cover.
A clear line between small changes, which care is meant for, and larger work, which is quoted separately.
What care is meant to cover
- Hosting of your website.
- Small content changes to what is already there, such as wording, numbers and opening hours.
- A direct route to ask for a change or report a problem.
What is quoted separately
- New pages.
- Structural redesigns.
- New features or integrations.
We do not promise unlimited changes, round-the-clock support or a guaranteed uptime figure.
What we agree in writing before you sign up.
These are the questions people reasonably ask before they commit. We put the answers on paper first.
- Exactly which changes are covered and how you request them.
- How quickly you can expect a reply.
- How care is billed and how you can cancel.
- Who owns the domain, and how your domain and files are handed over if you leave.
- What is backed up and how the site is recovered if something goes wrong.
Talk about care and hosting.
A short online conversation about your business and what a website could do for it. You decide afterwards whether you want a quote.

Do I have to take care and hosting?
No. It is optional. We explain it on the intro call, and if you want it, it is agreed in writing.
What counts as a small change?
Changes to what is already on the site: updating wording, numbers such as prices you have chosen to publish, and opening hours. New pages, structural redesigns and new features are different work.
What if I need a new page or a new feature?
We quote it separately, with the scope and the price stated before any work starts.
How quickly will changes be made?
We agree how requests are made and how quickly you can expect a reply when you sign up. We do not publish a standard response time, because it has to be one we can keep.
What happens if I want to leave?
How your domain and files are handed over is agreed in writing before you sign up, so you know your options in advance.
